Wets Ham’s Jermaine Defoe was refused entry to the players’s lounge last sunday according to The People:
The young striker, friend of David Beckham's and romantically linked with sister, Joanne, headed for the Old Trafford player's lounge.
But Defoe hadn't bargained on his second major humiliation of the day. The West Ham star was told by security staff he wasn't going in the players bar - no matter who he was meeting.
The reason? United have had a strict 'no opposition' policy in their players lounge and even though he's a pal of Beckham's the rule wasn't being broken.
So Defoe, one of the Premiership's brightest hopes, was left to climb on the team coach with the rest of Roeder's flops.
United stars are allowed to take three guests in the players lounge - but that doesn't include ANY visiting pals.
