The 18 year old has been out with the first team, he was part of the squad that went north of the border in pre season when United took on Aberdeen.
But he has featured mostly in the development side and by all accounts he is a star of the future. And he is also keen to make his first appearance in the Premier League with the Reds.
Ferguson knows all about the youngster, he has been keeping tabs on him for some time and has already said that the Belgian has a great chance to earn his place with the seniors before the end of the season.
Speaking to Inside United, Januzaj said: "I always try to do my best in every game and try to get in the team. Hopefully, I can try to get in the first team in the future as well.
"(Playing against Aberdeen) was a good experience. I really liked it and I hope it won't be the last time that I play with the first team. I will keep working hard to try and get into the first team. I hope to have a big career at Manchester United."
