The London Evening Standard reports:
‘Arsene Wenger is considering using video evidence when he contests a charge of improper conduct at a Football Association disciplinary hearing over his claim that Ruud Van Nistelrooy was a “cheat”.
‘Wenger said in a TV interview: “We know how Ruud van Nistelrooy behaves. He can only cheat people - we know him very well.”
‘Wenger is adamant he has done nothing wrong. He said: “I have read my statements again and I stand by what I said. I don't know what I am charged with. At some stage you have to say what you think without insulting people. I said what I felt on the day. It is as simple as that.”’
