WOLVES STRENGTHEN SQUAD

Premiership strugglers Wolves have signed Brazilian midfielder Emerson.

The 31-year-old is poised to make his debut in Wednesday's trip to Old Trafford.

Manager Dave Jones told the club's official website:

`He is a quality player who has already worked at Premier League level

and his experience will be invaluable to us.'

Jones has also added former Newcastle goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek to his squad, with the Czech player training at Molineux.

`Pavel is training with us at the moment so we can have a look at him,' Jones added.
