As promoted in Red Issue, Reds are being encouraged to adopt a bit of '70s
barminess for the trip to Blackburn rather than the "too cool to sing" brigade
most people like to think they belong to these days.
Whilst scarves, flags, banners and '70s terrace fashions are to be welcomed
this isn't a night out to Love Train so Elvis jump suits and John Travolta
wannabes probably won't be. The idea is basically a flag day with a '70s tint
so get your bar scarves down to Victoria on Saturday morning for the train to
Yonner central. It's still the '70s down that neck of the woods anyway, so they
won't notice the difference.
