Bob Wilson, Arsenal goalkeeping coach, is quoted in the Sun
today as saying:
WILL SEAMAN JOIN CITY?
"It is highly likely that David will go to another club. He
wants to continue his career at the top and now it's down to
whether Arsene can match the offer from Manchester City or
any other club. It's a hell of a dilemma for Arsenal but a
terrific one for David, who is playing as well as I've seen
him play for 15 years.”
Wenger wants Seaman to stay on as a coach but Wilson said:
"I've always said to David that nothing even comes close to
the thrill of pulling on that jersey on match days. My
instinct is he will play on at the highest level."
Highest level? At Manchester City?
