"He would definitely be suited to play for Real," he added.
"There were two players at my time at Old Trafford who would have been suited to Spanish football and they would have been Becks and Ryan Giggs.
"There are quite a few players in England who wouldn't have a problem football-wise adapting, but would have problems lifestyle-wise.
"Beckham would adapt to both. It's a different mentality off the field over here in Spain and you have to integrate and settle into the culture. Becks has the right mentality for the Spanish culture."
