The Sun reports:
‘A file from the FA investigation into former Aston Villa
boss John Gregory’s transfer dealings is about to be sent to
the Serious Fraud Office.
‘The signings of £6million Croatian Bosko Balaban and £9.5m
Colombian striker Juan Pablo Angel have been the subject of
a two-year probe.
‘The inquiry’s findings will now be passed on to the police.
‘Balaban joined Villa 2½ years ago but has since left the
club — switching to Serie B side Empoli on a free without
starting a single Premiership game.
‘It is claimed that he was even paid £1m to go.’
