Ronaldo told Spanish sportspaper Marca:
WE CAN STILL WIN TITLE
"No, there is still time to come back, I am confident in the team. The other day, against Arsenal, we gave a lesson in how to play under difficult circumstances and take the points. We can keep doing that, and I am confident we can reduce the gap little by little."
The 19-year-old commented on the players he enjoyed watching: "Here at Manchester we have (Ruud) van Nistelrooy who is a phenomenon both on the pitch as well as off it. “
"When I sit down in front of the telly I try to enjoy others, like (Thierry) Henry, (Zinedine) Zidane, (Luis) Figo or Deco”.
"I would also pick out Reyes, the Spaniard. I believe his football has been very positive for Arsenal and for English football in general. His speed is very noticeable, as well as his ability to play out wide or as a second striker."
He also said that, while he was very happy with life in England, he would be open to a move to Spain's Primera Liga at some point.
"In the Premiership they give opportunities to youngsters that maybe in Spain or Italy they wouldn't get. Here we have the example of Cesc Fabregas, the Spaniard at Arsenal. He has a lot of talent, but have you seen how old he is? He is just 17, but Arsene Wenger has already given him his chance and little by little he is adapting.”
"I'm not saying it (moving to Spain) won't happen one day. It's a possibility in the future, but I am very happy at Manchester right now. We will see what happens in the future, but one day why couldn't I play in the famous Spanish league?"
