The full back has been out of action since suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in the game against Basel in December, but after making amazing progress in his recovery, he should be a much needed boost to United’s back line.
The Serbian is not expected to make any appearances during United’s tour of Africa and China, but fingers are crossed for a return in Norway when the Reds take on Valerenga.
