Serbia's Euro 2008 Group A qualifier against Kazakhstan has been postponed until Nov. 24 due to unplayable conditions, the Serbian Football Association (FSS) said on its Web site on Sunday.
"The match has been rescheduled after referee Luis Medina Cantalejo of Spain and UEFA delegate Peter Forusek of the Czech Republic deemed the conditions unplayable this morning because of a heavy snowfall," the FSS said.
"Forusek and Medina, accompanied by representatives of Serbia and Kazakhstan, made the decision after measuring 15 centimetres of snow on the pitch and learning from the weather forecast the conditions would deteriorate."
