The Serbian centre-back is expected to return to the heart of the United defence for the match at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening having been rested for Sunday's FA Cup tie against Derby County.
"A win on Wednesday would put us in a very good position and psychologically it's important that we get the victory," he told the club's official website
"We know the title race is not finished because there are still so many games to play. But we need to concentrate our ourselves if we want to win trophies.
"It's not good to look at what others are doing. We have more points than Liverpool and Chelsea, and they need to look at what we're going to do, not the other way around.
"We have followed them for the last few months, but we have always been in a good position. Even when we were a few points behind we didn't feel that much pressure.
"We are in a good position fighting for four trophies, but it will be hard especially as we still have a lot of games to play between now and the end of the season.
"I am optimistic, but we will take things game-by-game. I hope we will win more than last season, but we'll see."
