Vidic Injury Not As Bad As First Feared

The United defender was substituted 34 minutes into the Champions League quarter final first leg victory in the Italian Capital with a knee injury but scans have shown the injury to be not too serious.

However, Vidic is expected to be sidelined for about two or three weeks.

"There is no major damage to the left knee, and he will be out for two or three weeks," a statement from a United spokesman has read.
