Juan Sebastian Veron, the former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder, could face a transfer to an Italian jail. Argentinian Veron and the former Lazio president, Sergio Cragnotti, are accused of faking passport documentation to secure the player's transfer in 1999. Veron, 31, now with Estudiantes in Argentina, had obtained dual citizenship by saying his grandfather was Italian. The next court hearing is on Jaunary 12 and both men deny any wrongdoing.
