Arsenal forward Robin van Persie will miss Wednesday's semi final first leg at Old Trafford with a groin strain, and Arsene Wenger is not sure that he will be fit for the return fixture either. The Frenchman told press, "Robin van Persie is definitely out for Sunday and for Manchester United."
However Emmanuel Adebayor is expected to return after missing the 4-4 draw at Anfield and Gael Clichy may be fit in time for the second leg. "Emmanuel Adebayor should come back into training on Saturday. He could be in the squad," said Wenger. "Gael Clichy could be back for the second Manchester United game. He has a scan on Monday. We'll go from there. He has a chance to be back in full training next week."
