UNITED CONFIRM THAT A TRANSFER INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING

Group finance director Nick Humby spoke yesterday about the
internal investigation into alleged transfer irregularities
at Old Trafford. “The information gathering stage is now
complete,' said Humby. “Now it will be all pulled together
and consideration will be given to what recommendations - if
any - to make to the board.

“We will certainly make some sort of public announcement
when the review is concluded and any changes will be in
place when the next transfer window opens in June.”
