The FC United board are proud to announce the club's first ever squad.
Karl Marginson and his management team have spent the last few weeks putting up to forty players through a stringent fitness programme and have released an initial first team squad of twenty for this Saturday's fixture against Leigh RMI.

Even though Leigh RMI play a number of divisions above the fledgling outfit FC United manager Karl Marginson is confident that his squad will give a good account of themselves against the Conference North side.
'There is a tremendous spirit within the squad and I am confident that they will do well in the coming season. The match against Leigh will be a tough test and is exactly the kind of opposition the lads need at this stage.'
The club trials of a few weeks ago have contributed four players to the squad and a number of other trialists will be given an opportunity to stake their claim to a first team berth in further friendlies over the coming weeks as the club shapes up for the first game against Leek CSOB on August 13th.
