Manchester United will cash in on Juan Sebastian Veron to raise money for Sir Alex Ferguson's summer spending if one of the Argentinian's European admirers can offer in excess of £20m.
Veron has sworn his loyalty to Ferguson, the United manager, for standing by him after a disappointing debut season at Old Trafford, but now financial issues are taking over the question of his future.
Ferguson will be given money for Ferdinand and three other purchases but there will have to be one major player sold in order to partially balance the books.
