In The Star yesterday they claimed that Kenyon had a meeting with Inter
officials in Milan.
There are no quotes to back the story up, however, given that Kenyon earlier
this week refused to rule out a summer transfer by claiming it was too soon to
discuss the matter, the plot appears to have thickened once again.
And the MEN have reported the story run on the site and in the Mirror
yesterday about Defoe coming in the summer:
'The England Under 21 international continues to earn rave reviews despite
having scored just seven times for a team fighting against relegation, and
United could make a £7 million move if the Hammers fail to beat the drop.
With only Ruud van Nistelrooy, Ole Solskjaer and Diego Forlan as senior
strikers, Ferguson is keen to recruit a new forward in the summer.
However, United have also been linked with a renewed bid for David Bellion
and a swap deal that would bring Adriano to Old Trafford.'
