The Sun report that we are after Canizares from Valencia to
provide competition for Barthez or even to replace him. They
reckon that Ricardo may make up part of a swap deal.

They also believe that Fergie is ready to make a bid for
Patrick Kluivert. Apparently Barcelona will want £15m but
United believe that £10m will be enough. However he is
currently on £110’000 a week and that could prove to be a
problem.
