ALEX FERGUSON wants to swap Phil Neville for £2million Everton ace Thomas Gravesen.

Contact has been made between United and Everton to register Ferguson’s interest in the Danish midfielder, 28, who has refused to sign a new deal at Goodison Park.

He will become a free agent in June and Fergie, who has already been told he will have to sell before he can buy, is ready to offer Neville, 27, in a cash/swap deal.

United midfielder Bojan Djordjic has been handed the chance to win a move to Rangers. The 22-year-old trained at the Ibrox side's Murray Park training complex earlier today with the rest of the Rangers team.

Djordjic`s contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season but it is understood that the Premiership side would be willing to let him go in January.
