...and more.

The Guardian report that United are once again looking to secure a deal for Douglas Costa, the 18 year old Brazilian currently playing at Gremio. Having failed to convince his side to allow him to initially join on loan, the paper reports that we are now offering an initial fee of £7m with 'success-related add-ons'.

Apparently cash-strapped, the Brazilian club are said to be holding out for £21m. United's hopes appear to lie with 'influential deal maker' Chris Nathaniel, who will no doubt be handsomely rewarded if he can convince Gremio to compromise.

Costa is 18 years old and has only made 20 appearances in senior matches.

Frazier Campbell has rejected Hull and signed for Sunderland for an initial fee of £3.5m. This could rise to £6m, although there are no details of what this depends upon.

The Torygraph report that Eto'o's agent is confident that United will make an £18m bid for the striker tomorrow.

There are reports that Coventry are looking to take United youngster Tom Cleverley on loan. He made 15 appearances on loan at Leicester last season, but has yet to feature for us.

Benitez claims that Liverpool have turned down four bids for Fernando Torres.

The biggest circus in town are said to be closing in on signing the poor Argentine martyr.

John Terry has apparently told Chelsea that he wants permission to speak with the Circus. Whether this is an attempt to get a better deal, or he is prepared to sacrifice any remaining ambition for the almighty pound, remains to be seen.
