TONIGHT'S TEAM NEWS

Sir Alex Ferguson will field some of the youngsters in tonight's clash against Basle. Roy Keane, Seba Veron, Quinton Fortune and Mickey Silvestre are all injured and unlikely to play. While Laurant Blanc and Diego Forlan both return to the squad.

However it's appears that United will put out a reasonably strong side amid fears that defeat will lead to problems with the other teams in the group. Ahead of the game SAF said:

"Even though we have already qualified, it is important that we are seen to be acting fairly with the other teams in the group," said Ferguson.

"I would hate for us to turn in a bad performance and then have all sorts of question marks raised against us after the game."

Danny Pugh, Darren Fletcher, Kieron Richardson and Daniel Nardiello are all expected to feature at some point.
