Titbits
United defender Craig Cathcart has joined Watford on loan until January.
The Northern Ireland U21 international caught the eye in pre-season appearances against Boca Juniors and Bayern Munich for the first team, and heads to Vicarage Road in search of further senior action.
Previously, Cathcart shone during a four-month spell at Royal Antwerp, and in a season-long loan at Plymouth Argyle last term. He started this season with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Reserves, scoring the Reds' opening goal of the league season in a 3-1 win at Bolton.
The former United U18s skipper will hope to emulate club-mate Tom Cleverley, who has quickly made an impression in his own short-term move to Vicarage Road.
Meanwhile, Eduardo has his 2 game European suspension overturned and Adebayor is still awaiting the results of his behaviour at weekend.
