THEY'RE ALL UNITED FANS REALLY

From the Sun:

Old Trafford is the nation's favourite football venue. Manchester United's stadium came out as the favourite ground overall in a study which asked football fans to rate their own club's stadium, as well as other clubs they'd visited.

Manchester City's Eastlands claimed the number two spot with Newcastle third, Reading fourth and Sunderland fifth.

But when asked which grounds were the best for comfort, food quality to ease of access, the results tell a different story.

Hull's KC stadium came top followed by Sunderland, Derby, Reading and Southampton. Manchester United were relegated to 13th.

Which stadium is your favourite?

1. Manchester United - Old Trafford
2. Manchester City - City of Manchester Stadium
3. Newcastle United - St James' Park
4. Reading - Madejski Stadium
5. Sunderland - Stadium of Light
6. Bolton Wanderers - Reebok Stadium
7. Chelsea - Stamford Bridge
8. Derby - Pride Park
9. Hull City - Kingston Communications Stadium
10. Aston Villa - Villa Park

Geoff Aucock, of Drivers Jonas, who commissioned the survey, said: "When fans vote with their heads the newer-build stadia are hard to beat.

"But when it comes to their hearts the nation is clearly very fond of Manchester United and its Theatre of Dreams."

When it comes to food, football clubs are not known for their culinary prowess except of course in East Anglia where at Delia Smith's Norwich City you'd expect top quality.

But the Canaries only managed second place in the football food league as they were pipped to top spot by Bristol Rovers.

The most over-priced food is at Reading.
