'The support is unbelievable. You can have thousands of people just literally camping outside the hotel,' he told MUTV.
'We had training sessions on the last tour where there were 55-60,000 people just watching us train.
'That's probably the best way to describe to people how fanatical they are about watching Manchester United over there, it is incredible.
'They don't get much of an opportunity [to see United in the flesh], it might come around once every three or four years to see us play one game or train once and they really do take that opportunity.
'They're really passionate about football and about this club and we've got to try to get ourselves into a run of form.
'It's important that we get results, that we play well, put in good performances and the fitness levels are improving all the time.
'Whilst obviously results aren't the most important thing it would be nice to start winning early and we can get the momentum going for the season.'
