Tomasz Kuszczak is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Peter Schmeichel after Ferguson compared the two of them.

"Now I've heard that Ferguson actually compared me to Schmeichel - that's enormous praise," Kuszczak told the Sun.

"Maybe in a few years I will reach his level. But to get from having the dream to realising it is a long road.

"I've got my head down and I'm working hard. It's definitely hard to win a rivalry with a keeper who is 37 and has played 119 internationals."
