United have confirmed that they will give seven players free transfers this summer. Quinton Fortune is the highest profile player on the list with reserve team captain Markus Neumayr also being told he won't be needed at the club next season.

Other players to go are Mark Howard, Mads Timm, Eddie Johnson, Phil Picken and Tommy Lee.

Third-year scholar Kyle Moran will also leave as he will not be offered professional terms this summer.
