"But with most referees nowadays I've found that being the captain means I can maybe speak to them in the game.
"But last night [Barry] would not allow any of the Chelsea lads talk to him.
"He was just ignoring us and as a player that's quite frustrating because if you can't speak sensibly with the referee it's going to flare up from there really."
