“This is his big chance to be an even better football player and I think he has already improved this season. I think he is playing more simply now, much more one-touch. He is not standing and fighting with the centre-backs which he did in the past.
“It's good to have a temperament but playing at a huge club like United, you learn rather quickly to control it. He also has better movement. From what I've seen of him I think he is already doing better than he did last season.
“He's unselfish, a good target man and a fighter. So it should be a good partnership with Michael Owen.”
