STUTTGART VOUCHERS

Last updated : 07 October 2003 By editor
IMUSA have contacted Manchester United following complaints from some of
our members that they did not have vouchers collected before the Stuttgart game last Wednesday as per instructions from Manchester United and are therefore concerned that the failure from Manchester United to collect these vouchers will prevent them from entering the ballot for the Rangers game in October.
The membership and ticket office at Manchester United have told IMUSA that
whilst they had staff inside the ground collecting vouchers at the foot of
the stairs for up to 15 minutes after the game started, they recognise that
(due to what we could describe as over zealous policing and dangerous entry
control) there were still some supporters who did not get access to the
ground until after these voucher collectors had left.

As such, Manchester United have agreed to IMUSA proposals that supporters
travelling to the Stuttgart game with a ticket purchased in their name, who
failed to have their vouchers collected can still be eligible to enter the ballot for the Rangers game provided they are able to demonstrate proof of travel (airline boarding cards, ferry / train booking etc.......) The membership office have stated that the ballot for the Rangers game will happen on Wednesday, so those affected have until then to submit the uncollected voucher and proof of travel by then

IMUSA ask that any members affected contact the membership office urgently
regarding this.
