afterwards to MUTV he said:
"It has been very good for me to come out and join the group
and pull on the red shirt of Manchester United. I am
absolutely delighted. The game was played at a pace I wanted
and I got a lot of the ball.
"The pitch was great - it was quite fast - and I managed to
do everything I wanted to do."
Gary Neville also played some of the match, coming on as a
substitute, and may be available to face Newcastle on
Saturday.
