Skysports.com are reporting that Hull City have extended the loan deal of young United striker Cameron Stewart until the end of the season.
Stewart joined Hull last month and has done well in his three appearances so far and it looks like Hull have beaten off interest in the youngster from Cardiff City and Leeds United.
"I'd love to stay beyond January playing as much first-team football as I can," the 19-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail.
"There's only so much you can learn in training, no matter who those players are.
"Any young lad needs to be playing games to develop. It's one thing playing reserve games but first-team football means so much more.
"You're out there trying to win three points and climb the table, every time you play it's a big deal. This is a big man's game."
