In a pre-weekend interview Neville junior told the official site that he was hoping for a draw between Arsenal and Chelsea:
"One of the top teams will drop a point, or maybe two," said Neville. "We’ve got to make sure that we capitalise on that. The ideal result would be a draw so that we can get closer to both teams. But there hasn’t been too much talk of that game [among the players] because we are concentrating on ourselves and on Monday's game."
"Over the last three or four years Fulham has been a hell of a difficult place to get a result. At the end of November we looked at the programme of games. We knew that if we started scoring goals and got our form back, we would be in among the chasing pack come the New Year and in touch with the leaders. We have got ourselves back up the table, but we have some difficult games over the Christmas period."
"There has been a change recently, winning games, scoring goals and keeping clean sheets breeds confidence. We're playing like a team with a lot of confidence at the moment. We look like we are going to score goals. We have been turning our chances into goals. When you start scoring two or three in every game, that's championship form."
