"I feel good. When you are playing week-in, week-out, you feel sharp and you feel confident.
"If someone had told me when I was 15 I would play for ten years at Manchester United and will all the things I did win I'd have snatched their hand off.
"I probably knew last December that I might have to leave. Obviously when you're not playing you're not happy.
"I'm very happy with my time at United and it was a hard thing to leave but now I have moved to Newcastle I'm very happy and playing with some great players.
"My football career is far from finished. I want to win a few more things and, hopefully, we can do that at Newcastle.
"Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world but at Newcastle there is a chance to catch them.
"There's no reason we can't win something."
