Silvestre told MUTV:

“It is looking good and I am looking forward to training again at the end of the week. I should be fit for Porto, maybe even before. For Porto, I think I will definitely be in the squad."

Meanwhile, from the MEN:

An inquest is being held into the death of Manchester United starlet and England Under-21 player Jimmy Davis.

The 21-year-old forward was killed in a crash when his BMW 3-series collided with a lorry on the M40 in Oxfordshire last August.

Sir Alex described him as "a player with real potential and great promise".
Bromsgrove-born Davis joined United as a trainee in 1999 and made his first team debut in 2001 in the Worthington Cup against Arsenal.

He was on a season-long loan to Division One Watford when he died in the early-hours crash.

The side cancelled their opening game against Coventry City after the tragedy.
He had also been loaned to Swindon the previous season where he scored a number of goals and became a popular player among fans.

The inquest is being heard at Oxford Coroner's Court.
