‘Alan Smith has had yet another bust-up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
‘SunSport revealed last month how Smith tore into Ronaldo in the dressing room after Manchester United’s 1-1 draw at Fulham. And on Saturday, in United’s embarrassing 0-0 draw against Exeter, Smith blasted Ronaldo on the pitch for showboating.
‘Ronaldo came on as a sub but was trying tricks rather than getting the ball in danger areas. And when Smith joined him as a sub he gave him a piece of his mind.
‘Boss Alex Ferguson also tried to shake up Ronaldo last month by including him in a second string side for the meaningless Champions League tie at Fenerbahce.’
