Everton's Swedish soccer star Tobias Linderoth has called his adopted city s**t.
He risked fans' wrath by saying he would rather party in Manchester than Liverpool. Linderoth, 22, called Scousers the "worst dressed people in England" who live in a place with the highest rate of stolen cars."
The £3m midfielder added:
"It's a dreadful town, a s**t city. I try to avoid to visit the central parts of Liverpool. In Sweden we have green areas in the cities."
Liverpool council leader Mike Storey called the blast "absolute nonsense." He added: "According to Tatler magazine we are the coolest city in the world."
