Liverpool keeper Jerzy Dudek has said he wanted to play United in the Carling Cup final.

"I wanted United to win because I remember the last time I had an unlucky game against them at Anfield, we then had the right result in Cardiff a few months later.

"But now it's Chelsea and maybe it's better for us we are playing a side no one expects us to beat.

"We know Cardiff better than most sides. It's been a lucky stadium for us and I hope it still will be after February 27."

And of course they would have been expected to beat United.
