From The Guardian:
'David Moyes last night reaffirmed his desire to sign Scott Parker from Chelsea during the January transfer window as he prepared to take his resurgent Everton side to Stamford Bridge.
The twice-capped England midfielder has been restricted to little more than a bit-part role under Jose Mourinho this season having joined from Charlton Athletic for £10m in January, making only eight Premiership starts in that time. Charlton have also indicated their willingness to take Parker back to The Valley on loan, though the offer of a permanent move to a club challenging at the top of the Premiership may appear more attractive to the 24-year-old.
"Scott Parker would certainly be a name we'd be interested in," said Moyes. "I expect good players to be attracted to Everton because we are clearly moving in the right direction. They will see us making good progress and they will be aware of this club's history. When you know a club has been there and done it, it does make it more attractive."
