Former red and Treble winner Peter Schmeichel has announced that he will retire from football at the end of this season. He told Copenhagen daily BT on Thursday.
"It's finished. I will hang up my gloves in the dressing room in May at the end of the season at Manchester City,"
"I played about 25 matches last year with Aston Villa and I'll have around 35 matches this season at Manchester City. So that's enough. I can't do more than that,"
