Manchester United is delighted to announce that existing Season Ticket and Upgraded League Match Ticket Book Holders who renew for 06/07 are being offered the opportunity that they can register their interest in purchasing an additional book for Season 2006/07. Books will be situated in various areas of the stadium including the new Quadrants and the Family Stand.
It is important to note that by registering your interest in an additional Season Ticket, the registered owner of the new book will be committing to purchase tickets for all home cup games played at Old Trafford during the season, please note existing Season Ticket Holders will not be required to join the Cup Scheme.

United deny current ST holders will be required to join the cup ticket scheme but why make newbies undertake to buy them all then? Existing ST holders could be forced to pay in advance for as many as 6 cup games but on a refundable basis if 6 games aren't played. Of course in the event more than 6 cup games are played they won't have been required to join the cup scheme which guarantees *every* cup game. A similar weaselesque use of semantics was employed when denials of planning to "rename" OT were made when the club was touting round "presenting rights". Watch this space as this will no doubt have more twists to it.
