SAHA OUT?

Reuters:

Striker Louis Saha will miss Tuesday's second leg of Manchester United's Champions League quarter-final against AS Roma at Old Trafford with a recurrence of a hamstring injury.

"He's not fit," manager Alex Ferguson said on Monday talking of Saha, whose late appearance as a substitute against Roma last week was his first United match for a month. He missed the weekend league defeat at Portsmouth.

"He felt his hamstring was a bit tight in training on Friday...Therefore, we have to be on the cautious side," he was quoted as saying on the club Web site

"There's no point in bringing somebody back who is not 100 percent fit and then them suffering further injury. Maybe he will be fit for Saturday's cup tie against Watford, but not for the Roma game."

MEN:

"I will freshen up as best as I can - we have Evra back and Saha will be fit to go on the bench.

"He just felt his hamstring tighten a little in training on Friday. He is a bit cautious rather than it being a real injury, so he should be OK for tomorrow.

"If he is on the bench, I will certainly pick him and Smithy for the Cup semi-final next Saturday.

"These two cup games have come at a good time to give us a 10-day break from the league.

"The important thing is to recover and we will do that."
