Perhaps Fergie would be surprised to find a horse's head in his bed but it doesn't mean he has got a problem with the Mafia. John Magnier one half of the Coolmore Mafia, who have been snaffling up shares in United for quite some time now, isn't willing to pay SAF his half of horse Rock of Gibraltar's earnings at stud.
Sir Alex is half owner of the horse with Magnier's wife, Sue, and while it was the deal that SAF was entitled to half of the horse's earnings while it was racing there seems to be some discrepancies about the horse at stud.
The Sun claims that SAF has contacted his lawyers while the Magnier is
hoping to settle everything out of court.
Henry Ponsonby, who runs an owners' syndicate that includes Fergie, said:
"Sir Alex is consulting his lawyers.
"He is very disappointed at the behaviour of John Magnier."
While Magnier himself seems to be keeping quiet about the whole deal, he said:"I really don't have any comment to make. I'm sorry but that's that."
