"I think becoming a dad has given me an extra spur.
"Since Libby was born, I feel I've taken my form to a new level.
"Because she was born prematurely, there was a sense of relief when everything was all right and I could concentrate fully on my football again.
"Libby came home on Saturday night. She's just over three weeks old. That was a brilliant moment. And, of course, we won the title on Sunday.
Giggs doesn't know who will be coming and going in the summer.
He added: "Nothing has been said to me about the future. Friends are always asking you who's coming and going and you say 'I don't know, us players are always last to find out'.
"But I know what I can do and I know what I can bring to the team.
"Hopefully, I can start next season as I have finished this one.
"I've ended the season in a central role and I've enjoyed it.
"The gaffer feels I can do well there and it is something I have always said I'm comfortable with. I've played there before and it suits my game."
And on winning those EIGHT championship medals putting him on a par with Dalglish and Phil Neal.
"It makes me feel proud. I was aware I was on course to equal it. The gaffer had pointed it out and said it would be great if I could do it.
"It was an extra incentive. And now, hopefully, I can go on and win as many as I can and put myself out of sight."
