"It has been my longest spell out injured since I came to the club. I have done a lot of hard work over the last few months but getting back on the pitch again makes it all worth it. I suppose if you play 70 games a season for a number of years, eventually you are going to get injured.
“It is part of the job. It is the risk that is involved and you have to deal with it. The experience I had getting over my knee injury made sure I didn't rush things or do anything that could aggravate it. I just wanted to make sure I came back strong and I have done that."
He is looking forward to the challenge in the San Siro:
"We go there with a clear task. We have to win. It is not a simple thing to do but we have to go for it and we will go for it. We were all disappointed at what happened in the first game but as time has gone on, we are all starting to look forward to the Milan game.
