From the Sun.
ROBERT PIRES says Manchester United are scared of Arsenal — less than two weeks before the two clubs clash.
RUNNING SCARED
He reckons the Gunners’ rivals are STILL shaken by last November’s infamous Battle of Old Trafford.
The Arsenal ace said: “The scenes at the end of that match were controversial and earned some of our players suspensions and fines. But we established a psychological stranglehold over United that day. You could say the sanctions we endured after that game were almost worth it.”
Pires, 31, added: “That’s nice. The English fans dream of seeing us going to Old Trafford to seek a 50th unbeaten game, against United. "
I could have sworn we beat them in an FA cup semi final later in the year,oh well, bring it on big mouth.
