Rooney Back For Cup Tie

Rooney has been forced to sit out Uniteds last two games with a virus but manager Alex Ferguson has said that he should have recovered in time for Uniteds trip to Villa Park at the weekend.

"It would have been a bit of a risk to play Wayne [against Birmingham] but he should be fine for Saturday," the United boss has said.
