Whilst the initial rumours of Ronaldo-to-United appeared weeks ago and have long since been carried away on the wind it may well be this story isn't as far fetched as it once seemed.

Fergie is a long term admirer and following his impressive World Cup showing Nike are incredibly eager to see Ronaldo at United, so eager that we're led to believe they're considering offering part of the finance should United baulk at the size of any transfer package.
