CRISTIANO RONALDO is not fazed by the prospect of facing David Beckham for the first time, and hopes to show Becks just how good he is when Portugal host England in tomorrow’s Faro friendly.

He said:

“It does not matter whether I am playing against Beckham or anyone else, the responsibility is the same. It is another game for me to show my progression ahead of Euro 2004.I really want to go to the European Championships and be part of the team because I believe Portugal can win it.”

“But I am not taking anything for granted.”

“I know many people from England will be watching to see me play. And, of course, I expect Portugal to win.”
